バトルホッグシリーズ最小モデルとなる2.6インチは、フィネスリグの特性に合うようボディ形状や各パーツを見直した新設計のフィネス専用機。主にスモールラバージグのトレーラーやヘビーダウンショットリグなどでその威力を発揮します。
バトルホッグ2.6インチでは、シェイキングに代表されるフィネス特有のアクションに特化させるため、２対の触覚をカーリーテールからピンテールに変更。それによりシェイキング時の痙攣するようなビビッドなテールアクションと、ステイ時に自発的揺らめくナチュラルアクションを手に入れました。
また、やや横扁平にデザインしたボディ形状と、敢えて水に逆らうパーツを排除する事によって、ナチュラルなフォール姿勢とスライドフォール実現。特にヘビーダウンショットリグやキャロライナリグなどワームの自由が高いリグでは、シンカー着底後にキレのあるスライドフォールを発生し、高いリアクション効果を発揮します。
From the BATTLE HOG series comes the smallest 2.6-inch model with redesigned body and parts made specific for finesse rigs. Most effective when used as a trailer on small rubber jigs and on heavy down shot rigs.
On this 2.6-inch model, the two tails have been changed from curly to pointed which give it the distinct finesse action. When shook, the tail gives off a vivid pulsating action, while also naturally flowing with the current when paused.
Designed with slightly flat sides and eliminating parts that create drag, a natural falling posture and slide-fall was achieved. Especially on heavy down shot and Carolina rigs where the worm moves freely, the BATTLE HOG 2.6-inch makes a sharp slide-fall that entices reactionary bites.
