The ”Barricade” stands out as the most torqueful heavy rod in the GLADIATOR series.
This thick blank with medium elasticity has overwhelming torque to go head to head with the monsters that have lived through tough times, acting as a barricade for no escape.
This heavy and torqueful regular tapered blank will exhibit its underlying power once it is loaded. You will especially be able to notice this with the frog game. Anglers won’t be let down when fishing in the thick aquatic vegetation teeming in the summer ponds and flat lakes. Even when the fish are all tangled up in the aquatic plants, the rods true potential will be seen when anglers violently rip it out of the water.
When utilizing this rod for the frog game, we recommend anglers to use approximately 50lb PE line to improve your hookup and successfully land your fish in the heavy cover. We have loaded the rod with the T-KWSG guides to reduce line trouble for a stress free experience when using the PE line.
Furthermore, the absolute torque in the Barricade model has enabled anglers to utilize the ”Punching” technique with sinkers over 1oz. and big baits or swim baits in the 2oz. class.
