Bite Connection is the second spinning model of the GLADIATOR series.

Navigator, the first spinning model of the series was developed with more powerful settings and concepts with ”getting the light rigs out farther”, ”accurately hooking up the fish in the distance” and ”successfully hauling in and landing the fish out far”. This Bite Connection was developed with “more controllability and sensitivity” in a more finesse settings.

For light action rods of 6.9ft are generally though to handle more sluggish and have to maneuver it in a more horizontal manner, but through long land based testing, we were able to create a unique taper design which will let anglers feel like it is the extension of their arm even when vertically handling the rod.

Neko rigs, jig head wacky rigs, non-sinker rigs, jig head rigs, split shot rigs, down shot rigs and small rubber jigs are just some of the light rigs imperative for land based fishing. This rod will allow anglers to accurately cast out these rigs, feeling each small rock or weed they touch and naturally present their soft plastics.
The sensitive tip will also transmit the smallest of bites through the blank allowing anglers to swiftly pierce the upper lip of the bass with a short stroke of the wrist, instead of the long sweeping stroke often required for ordinary rods.

Furthermore, it can also handle shads, minnows and top-water plugs that require subtle handling of the rod.

The guide settings are the same as the Navigator, carefully set up with Fuji T-YSG guides and T-KTSG guides for trouble free usage with all types of line including fluorocarbon, nylon and PE lines.

We hope this Bite-Connection model will create a more intimate connection between the angler and the bass.
