The first of the “GLADIATOR Technix” series released is the “Light Feelips” especially developed for the recently ever popular bait-finesse technique utilized by land-based anglers. Taking into account the limited number of rods you can take with you when land-based fishing, RAID JAPAN sought for a bait-finesse rod which is able to handle the use of both soft plastics and light plugging.

Through tests in various field conditions and seasons, the somewhat short 6.4ft length was the optimum length to maximize the sensitivity, operability and castability for the finesse style land-based fishing. We employed a highly elastic solid tip to heighten you operability of light lures and rigs while smoothly releasing the line through various casting techniques (pitching, shot, long) that have different swing speeds. The original guide settings of the Technix series has drastically reduced the line trouble through backlashes and helped increase the casting distance.

With the combination of a bait-casting reel loaded with a light spool especially designed for the bait-finesse style, this rod will allow anglers to utilize the light 5g class plugs and 1/16oz. class rigs which used to be only possible through your spinning setup.
Land-based fishing is the main stage for RAID JAPAN. The “Light Feelips” is our standard for the bait-finesse land-based fishing scene.
